2022 FIFA WORLD CUP QATAR - The Journey Begins

The 2022 FIFA World Cup will be the 22nd edition of FIFA WORLD CUP, international championship played by the national team of 32 qualifying nations, who are members of Federation of International Football Association (FIFA). The 2022 FIFA WORLD CUP will be played in Qatar. This will be the first World Cup played in Arabian soil.

After 2002 FIFA WORLD CUP Korea - Japan, this will be the first world cup held entirely in Asian soil.This will be the last world cup with 32 teams playing in tournament. From 2026 FIFA has decided 48 teams will be playing in FIFA WORLD CUP.
